Hello, I'm Deepak, founder of The SEN Tutor.
I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years of experience working across mainstream and specialist educational settings.
During my career, I have supported children with a wide range of strengths, challenges and learning needs. I have seen first-hand how confidence, self-belief and the right support can transform a child's experience of learning.
Children don't wake up in the morning wanting to struggle. They don't choose to feel anxious about school, avoid learning or lose confidence in themselves. More often than not, they simply haven't yet found an approach that works for them.
If there's one thing I've learned during my years in teaching, it's that every child wants to succeed. This belief is what inspired me to create The SEN Tutor.
I've worked with many children who found learning difficult, overwhelming or frustrating. Some had additional needs. Some had gaps in learning. Others had simply reached a point where they no longer believed they could succeed.
What I discovered was that academic progress rarely starts with worksheets, tests or targets...
